Tom has been practicing law for over 40 years primarily in medical malpractice litigation, along with other personal injury cases including vehicular collisions with an emphasis on major tractor trailer accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning and product liability. He has tried well over 100 cases to trial in every jurisdiction in the State of Maryland, and in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Arkansas, New York, and the federal courts. He was the chairman of the medical malpractice department at the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos for over 25 years and was involved in significant litigation at that firm in tobacco, ground water contamination and other mass torts and multi district litigation. He began his legal career working for David Ellin’s grandfather, Marvin Ellin from 1979-1989.
He is a native of Frederick, Maryland, and graduated from Dickinson College in 1978 and the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1981 where he was a Moot Court finalist. He is the father of three daughters which he considers his most significant accomplishment.
