The National Association of Distinguished Counsel
David Ellin, of the Law Office of David Ellin, has been selected to the 2015 list as a member of the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. NADC is an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Its mission is to objectively recognize the attorneys who elevate the standards of the Bar and provide a benchmark for other lawyers to emulate.
Members are thoroughly vetted by a research team, selected by a blue ribbon panel of attorneys with podium status from independently neutral organizations, and approved by a judicial review board as exhibiting virtue in the practice of law. Due to the incredible selectivity of the appointment process, only the top one percent of attorneys in the United States are awarded membership in NADC. This elite class of advocates consists of the finest leaders of the legal profession from across the nation.

David Ellin Named to The Daily Record Successful By 40 VIP List
David Ellin always knew he wanted to be an attorney and follow in the footsteps of his grandfather Marvin Ellin, who was called the “Dean of Medical Malpractice Attorneys.”
“As a child I would often visit his law office and developed a real admiration for the way in which he helped people who had been seriously injured and for the procedures and traditions of the judicial system,” he said.
He worked at the firm beginning in his teens and throughout college and law school.
Wanting exposure to areas of the law other than personal injury and medical malpractice, Ellin became a Baltimore City assistant state’s attorney for three years, and after returning to his grandfather’s firm for three years, he opened up the Law Office of David Ellin, P.C. in 2004.
Mr. Ellin mainly handles cases involving personal injury, including car accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice and birth injury. He also does pro bono work for those who cannot afford a lawyer.
“I always try to defuse difficult or intense situations with humor, and through humor, compassion and patience I’ve been able to resolve matters that most others would consider lost causes,” Ellin said.
For the fifth consecutive year, David Ellin is proud to be named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine. This attorney-led research identifies lawyers who have attained honors, results or credentials based on peer evaluation by practice area.
